The licence
When you buy a Westwood Industries product you are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself. Westwood Industries retains ownership of the software and all rights in it.
What you may do
- Install and use the product on computers you own or control, for your own work.
- Use it for commercial work, including releases you are paid for, with no additional fee or royalty.
- Make backup copies for your own use.
What you may not do
- Share, sell, rent, lend or redistribute the software or your licence details.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the models or source, except where law expressly permits it.
- Remove or alter any notices in the software.
Studios and shared systems
If the product will be installed on machines used by multiple people, such as a studio or teaching facility, contact us and we will arrange appropriate licensing.
Updates
Updates within a major version are included at no extra cost. New major versions may be chargeable.
Warranty
The software is supplied as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will meet a particular requirement. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Termination
This licence ends if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the software and remove it from your systems.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
