Who is responsible

Westwood Industries, a sole trader based in Leeds, England, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: ted.westwood@hotmail.co.uk.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address and message.
Newsletter: your email address and first name.
Purchases: handled by our checkout partner. They collect the payment and billing details needed to complete the sale; we receive order records including your email address and what you bought.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to deliver products and support you as a customer, to send the newsletter if you have asked for it, and to keep accounting records as required by law.

Legal basis

We rely on consent for the newsletter, on performance of a contract for orders and support, and on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries. Accounting records are kept to meet a legal obligation.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the business: our checkout partner, our email and form providers, and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while relevant and then deleted. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list.
